About the Client

A spin-off Nerds Computing, Inowattio is a smart solar energy platform that helps prosumers manage and monetize their power through real-time monitoring and peer-to-peer trading. It enables energy communities and grid aggregation so households can optimize usage, sell surplus, and cut costs.

Challenge & Objectives

Define the product form. Clarify the MVP versus the roadmap, the user roles (prosumers, aggregators, grid operators), and the business model so the platform solves real operational needs while aligning with market regulations.


Design and develop the technical solution. Architect a secure, multi-tenant system with real-time data ingestion, time-series analytics, billing, and seamless integrations with smart meters and the national grid—delivered with an API-first approach and rigorous observability.


Technically challenging. Serve many clients with sub-second response times, process high-volume telemetry, and comply with strict national grid requirements for data quality, auditing, cybersecurity, and interoperability—without compromising reliability or privacy.

Technical Solution

We delivered an end-to-end, cloud-native implementation, owning everything from application development and data pipelines to infrastructure (IaC), CI/CD, observability, and security hardening. Through multiple iteration cycles, we refined the core use cases with stakeholders—validating assumptions via prototypes and translating them into stable APIs and production-ready workflows.
