Nerds Computing SRL (“Nerds Computing”, “we”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our websites atnerds.sh andnerdscomputing.com (the “Website”). The Website is a presentation/informational site—no account creation or payments are offered.

Information We Collect

  • Usage data: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, language, referring pages, pages viewed, time spent, clicks/scrolls, and similar diagnostic data.
  • Cookies & analytics: We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar (and similar services we may adopt) to understand Website usage.
  • Advertising measurement: If you consent to marketing cookies, we use Meta Pixel and Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the Website.
  • Form submissions: If you send us a contact, application or request-for-offer form, we process the details you provide (for example name, email, phone, institution/company, role and the details of your request). These are recorded in our CRM system, HubSpot.
  • Communications: If you email us, we process your contact details and the contents of your message in order to respond.

We do not offer login accounts and we do not collect payment information on the Website.

  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — measures what actions people who arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad took on the Website, and allows us to show ads to Website visitors. Meta may act as a joint controller for certain processing.
  • Google Ads — conversion measurement and remarketing for our Search and Display campaigns.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) — measurement of our professional campaigns and building remarketing audiences.

These tools do not start if you choose “Only necessary”. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing the Website’s cookies in your browser settings, which brings the preferences banner back, or by writing to us atoffice@nerds.sh. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out beforehand.

Sharing of Personal Data

  • We may share information with trusted service providers, solely to operate, secure, measure and improve the Website: Google (analytics and advertising), Hotjar (experience analytics), HubSpot (CRM and forms), Meta (advertising measurement, with consent only), and our hosting provider.
  • These providers are contractually required to process data only according to our instructions and to implement safeguards.

International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction (for example, to the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted by applicable law (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) or on an adequacy decision applicable to the relevant provider, where required. This concerns in particular Google, HubSpot and Meta, whose groups have entities in the United States.

Data Retention

  • Analytics data: retained according to provider defaults or our configuration (typically ~14–26 months), after which it is deleted or aggregated.
  • Advertising data: remarketing audiences and campaign-related data are retained within platform limits (typically up to 180 days from the last interaction), after which the person automatically drops out of the audience.
  • Emails/inquiries: retained as necessary to respond and maintain business records, then deleted or archived.
  • Form data (CRM): retained for the duration of the commercial relationship and afterwards in line with legal record-keeping obligations; you can request deletion at any time.

Security

  • We use HTTPS encryption in transit.
  • Secure hosting and access controls are applied.
  • We apply least-privilege access practices and periodic reviews.
  • No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
