TL;DR

Nerds worked alongside FOX’s in-house team to develop a domain management platform. The application brought domain records, requests and administration into a shared web interface, supporting the teams responsible for the network’s digital properties.

Context & challenge

FOX needed to manage domains for its entertainment portfolio, including new films and television shows. Each launch involved domain requests, technical configuration and ongoing maintenance.

Handling this work manually made it difficult to keep information and progress visible across teams. The client needed a central place to manage its domain portfolio and connect administrative work with existing systems.

Our role

We collaborated with the client’s engineering team on the platform’s web interface and application integrations. Our contribution supported the client’s existing domain-management processes and the people responsible for them.

Solution & delivery

We developed a responsive interface for working with domain records and requests, giving users a common place to view information and follow progress. Integration with the client’s existing systems connected this interface to the wider administration process.

The work focused on making recurring domain-management tasks easier to handle and information easier to find, while fitting the way the client’s teams already worked.

Results

The platform provided a shared workspace for domain administration. Teams could consult domain information and track requests through one interface, with integrations supporting the work behind it.
