Case study showing how Nerds Computing, in collaboration with the client’s technical team, developed a secure and scalable cross-chain bridge for MultiversX, enabling token transfers between multiple blockchains with a React-based dApp, smart contract integrations, and a built-in recovery system.

About the Client

The client is a Secure Proof of Stake (SPoS) blockchain network designed for speed, scalability, and security.

It provides the foundation for distributed applications, enterprise-grade integrations, and the next generation of the digital economy, enabling developers and businesses to build performant and secure decentralized ecosystems.

Challenge & Objectives

The goal was to develop a cross-chain bridge enabling asset transfers between multiple blockchains and the MultiversX network.

The solution needed to ensure transaction safety, preventing any loss of funds, and include a reliable recovery mechanism in case of system failure.

Additionally, the architecture had to support easy integration of new blockchains, allowing future expansion with minimal development effort.

Technical Solution

Working closely with the client's technical department, Nerds Computing augmented the team to develop a Single Page Application (SPA) — a decentralized web app powered by a dedicated backend service that interacts with a specialized blockchain node.


The system integrates with multiple smart contracts deployed across MultiversX, Ethereum, and other supported networks, enabling secure cross-chain operations.


Strong frontend validations were implemented to minimize user errors and prevent invalid transactions. The platform also includes wallet integrations for both software solutions (such as Metamask and xPortal / Maiar DeFi Wallet) and hardware devices (including Ledger wallets) to ensure secure asset management.

Results & Impact

The solution includes an easy-to-configure SPA for adding new tokens and networks, an explorer for searching and auditing all historical swaps, and a built-in recovery mechanism to safely restore funds in failure scenarios.
