Senior Software Engineer

This is an open invitation to senior software engineers across different specialisms. We’d like to meet people who can shape a system, guide its delivery and build trust with the client along the way.

What we are looking for

• Experience designing and evolving production systems, explaining trade-offs and choosing an architecture that fits the problem, constraints and likely growth.
• A view beyond your own component: how data moves, services depend on each other and failures spread. You account for reliability, security, performance and operation from the start.
• The ability to turn an unclear brief into a workable plan, make realistic estimates and keep delivery on course when priorities change.
• Experience turning a client’s goals into engineering priorities and checking, after release, whether the work achieved what mattered.
• Experience managing client relationships: setting expectations, discussing scope, budgets and risks openly, and recognising where we can help next.
• The confidence to lead technical discussions, stay involved in the code and help colleagues make better decisions, with the openness to change your own mind.
• Interest in using AI throughout development, with the judgment to question its suggestions, review the code and verify the result.

• Web and mobile: TypeScript, React, Next.js, React Native and Expo.
• Services and integrations: C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, APIs and distributed systems.
• Data and AI: PostgreSQL, Kafka and Kafka Streams, LLM integrations, forecasting and machine learning.
• Cloud and delivery: AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and observability.
• Software close to the hardware: Rust, Kotlin, desktop applications, device communication and industrial integrations.
